Core inflation pressures likely to remain muted

We suspect that monthly core price growth will accelerate marginally from the very soft rates seen in the first four months of the year but, on the whole, core price pressures should remain muted. That sets the stage for both core and headline inflation to reach the 2% target on a sustained basis by early next year.
