Markets have brushed off Trump’s latest tariff threats. Geopolitical worries have faded – for now. And the AI trade is powering back. But beneath the surface, risks remain. Are investors reading the macro signals too optimistically?
Join our Markets economists for this online briefing on what lies ahead for global equities, bonds and currencies. Over two sessions on Wednesday, 16th July, the team will be highlighting the key Asian, European and US markets themes that they expect to drive returns through the end of this year and into 2026.
The first session (0900 BST/1600 SGT) will focus more on Asia market themes, including whether regional shares will see much more upside and the outlook for Asian FX – including CNY and TWD. The second (1000 ET/1500 BST) will include discussion of whether Europe’s repricing has run its course and the outlook for the euro.
Register for these 20-minute sessions to get answers from the team as they address key issues including:
- Whether the US exceptionalism story is back in play;
- What our Fed view means for Treasuries and the dollar;
- The relative performance of non-US equities.
