Emerging Europe Chart Pack (Oct. 2025)

Our Emerging Europe Chart Pack has been updated with the latest data and our analysis of recent developments.

The latest data suggest that GDP growth in Central and Eastern Europe generally remained resilient in Q3, while Russia’s economy slowed further. We expect this divergence to continue over the coming year as most CEE economies benefit from a moderate pick up in Germany as fiscal stimulus arrives there and domestic demand holds up, while Russia’s economy continues to struggle. A loss of oil demand from India presents a big downside risk to Russia’s economy.
