Norges Bank on hold for foreseeable future

This morning’s decision by the Norges Bank to leave its key policy rate on hold at 1.50% was widely expected. We suspect that the Bank will leave rates on hold until 2022 though, if anything, our forecast for oil prices to rise suggests that the balance of risks is skewed towards further tightening.
