SNB to lead the G10 central banks in rate cuts

Inflation in Switzerland has surprised most other forecasters, including the SNB, this year by falling to just 1.2% in February, which was the ninth month in a row that it has been below 2%. We think this will encourage the SNB to reduce the policy rate by 25bp to 1.5% at its meeting next week.
