New Home Sales (Dec.)

New home sales ended 2019 on a weak note, declining in each of the final three months of the year. But a high traffic of prospective buyers in January points to a swift recovery in sales the early part of 2020. Beyond that low mortgage rates, a pick-up in economic growth and lack of existing homes for sale all point to a steady rise in sales over the year.
