Saudi to extend output cuts, more protests in Algeria

Fresh hints from Saudi Arabia that it will extend its oil production cuts into the second half of this year support our view that economic growth in the Kingdom will be weaker than most anticipate. Meanwhile, further demonstrations planned in Algeria on Friday raise the risk that the country is entering a prolonged period of political uncertainty, which will simply add to the headwinds facing the economy.
