Mexico’s central bank (Banxico) delivered another 25bp interest rate cut, to 7.50%, at its meeting today and the communications were broadly unchanged, suggesting that easing will continue at the upcoming meetings. Our forecast for rates to fall to 7.00% by year-end and 6.25% by end-2026 are more dovish than current market pricing.
