We now expect one extra cut by the RBA & RBNZ

Following dovish comments from the RBNZ this week we now expect the Bank to cut rates to 1.0% by the end of the year. Meanwhile, our forecast that the RBA will cut rates to 0.5% by early next year raises the risk that unconventional monetary policy will be required in Australia.
