The revised peace plan worked on by the US and Ukraine in Geneva last Sunday has the potential to result in a more balanced framework to end the war in Ukraine than looked likely last week, but we remain sceptical that Kyiv and Moscow will find sufficient common ground to sign up to a deal. Elsewhere, data released out of Poland this week suggests to us that the central bank is likely to cut interest rates again when it meets next Wednesday.
