Ukraine’s drone campaign adds to energy shock

Ukraine’s drone strikes on Russia’s energy sector are squeezing Russia economically and politically but also putting additional upwards pressure on global energy prices. Ukraine would be loath to end the drone campaign. But if energy prices continue to rise, it seems plausible that the US might become less supportive and put pressure on Kyiv to dial back strikes, at least on Russia’s energy infrastructure, or shift the focus of its targets away from energy.
