Investors become less positive on metals

There are early signs that investor sentiment in the metals markets is deteriorating, although more so for industrial metals than precious. Some of the technical indicators that we monitor have recently turned bearish and, in some cases, stocks are building. Overall, we think that metals prices will fall over the coming months as Fed tightening and slower growth in China weigh on demand and sentiment.
