Colombia’s easing cycle probably at an end

The decision by Colombia’s central bank to cut its policy interest rate on Friday night by 25bp (to 4.25%) probably marks the last move in the easing cycle. We expect the policy rate to be left unchanged over the rest of this year before being raised in 2019.
