Swiss CPI (September.)

The rise in Switzerland’s headline inflation rate in September was largely due to the increase in oil prices in recent months, which caused energy inflation to rise sharply. In contrast, core inflation fell and we think it is likely to fall further in 2024, setting the scene for the SNB to start cutting rates in the first half of next year.
