Poland: Rising inflation won’t prompt interest rate hikes

Polish inflation is likely to rise over the coming quarters, but we don’t think that will prompt a policy response. With growth set to slow next year and the ECB likely to relaunch QE, we expect that the Polish MPC will keep interest rates unchanged right through to the end of its term in early 2022.
