RBA still has more work to do

The RBA reiterated its view that the economy had reached a gentle turning point when it left rates unchanged today. However, we think that the Bank’s forecasts for GDP growth and the labour market remain too optimistic and we expect the Bank to cut rates to 0.25% and launch quantitative easing in 2020.
