Higher inflation to push up longer gilt yields

Our forecast that the Bank of England will keep interest rates at +0.10% for a few more years and that, as a result, inflation will rise above the 2% target for a prolonged period is consistent with a further steepening in the gilt yield curve. As a result, we have revised up our 10-year gilt yield forecasts.
