Egypt Consumer Prices (Mar.)

Egyptian inflation rose further in March, to 30.9% y/y, but we think it’s close to peaking and the central bank is unlikely to tighten monetary policy further. Indeed, as inflation starts to fall back later in the year, the next move in interest rates is likely to be down.
