China’s re-opening and currency markets

While the medium-term outlook for the renminbi and other Asian currencies has improved, and we have revised some of our forecasts accordingly, we continue to anticipate that a deterioration in risk sentiment as other major economies slide into recession will lead to a rebound in the US dollar against most currencies over the coming months.
