What is behind the narrow equity rally?

While enthusiasm over AI probably explains much of the “Magnificent Seven’s” outperformance in the US, the outperformance of the largest stocks in other markets is indicative of a broader shift in investors’ preferences towards larger stocks. That helps inform our view that big tech firms may continue to lead the rally, even as it broadens out.
