Biden presidency, food inflation, interest waiver

We wouldn't rule out a Joe Biden administration taking a more collaborative approach to containing China's geopolitical influence than Donald Trump, which could help strengthen ties between the US and India. Meanwhile, the government’s efforts to cap the recent surge in food prices should at the margin help to ease inflation pressures. Finally, the interest waiver dispute between the RBI and Supreme Court appears to have been settled in the best possible manner, but that’s cold comfort given the extremely poor health of the banking sector.
