Have lenders become more cautious?

Following a sharp dip in the run-up to and immediately following the referendum, buyer confidence in the UK housing market looks to be stabilising. But there are indications of reduced risk appetite on the part of lenders. Unless quickly reversed, this caution could act as a brake on any recovery in mortgage market activity over the remainder of the year.
