Brexit crunch time

Next week is likely to be the biggest week for Brexit since the referendum, with crucial Parliamentary votes likely to give us some steer on where the UK is headed. Of course, it is perfectly possible that nothing is decided and there is another step-up in uncertainty. Given all this, the recent economic news has been remarkably reassuring, supporting our view that the UK is better placed to bounce back after Brexit and weather the global slowdown than perhaps is widely assumed.
