Brazil IPCA-15 (Feb. 2020)

The modest fall in Brazilian inflation in the middle of the month, to 4.2% y/y, confirmed that it has passed its peak. The headline rate is likely to edge down further over the course of the year, allowing the central bank to keep the Selic rate at its historic low over our forecast horizon.
