GDP (Q1)

Indian GDP data for Q1 (Q4 of FY21/22) show that activity held up much better during the Omicron outbreak than during previous virus waves. The economy is well-placed for strong growth over 2022 as a whole, but rising inflation and high commodity prices pose downside risks to the outlook.
