Russian annual GDP data for 2017, which showed that the economy expanded by 1.5% over the year as a whole, are consistent with a slowdown in growth to 1.0% y/y in Q4, from 1.8% y/y in Q3. However, we think the economic recovery will get back on track this year, and our 2018 growth forecast of 2.5% is above the consensus.
