Russia CPI (Jun.)

The sharper-than-expected rise in Russian inflation last month, to 4.4% y/y, was driven by an increase in fruit and vegetable inflation. Core inflation fell to a record low. Accordingly, we still think it’s more likely than not that the central bank will continue its easing cycle at this month’s Board meeting.
