SNB will not fear being branded a ‘manipulator’

While much of the market’s focus has been on China, Switzerland appears set to become the first country to meet all three of the US Treasury’s criteria of being a ‘currency manipulator’ later this year. However, if the SNB cuts interest rates, as we and investors expect, its time in the crosshairs should be limited.
