Are investors being complacent?

The financial markets have been very calm since Donald Trump entered the White House, despite the controversy surrounding his provocative executive orders and tweets. While this probably reflects the fact that the president’s actions so far do not appear to have a huge bearing on the near-term outlook for the US economy, investors’ indifference may prove to be complacent.
