Recent stimulus worsens fiscal woes

The latest CBO projections suggest that the recent fiscal stimulus will push the Federal budget deficit up to 5% of GDP soon. Moreover, there are reasons to expect the actual outcome could be even worse because those projections are made under current law, and so incorporate the effects of not one, but two, potential fiscal cliffs.
