Nationwide House Prices (Apr.)

House prices regained momentum in April following the extension to the stamp duty holiday. As a result, an acceleration in annual house price growth into double digits over the summer is now all but guaranteed. But with the economy set to recover quickly and interest rates very low, we don’t think that the current surge in house prices will be followed by a correction.   Is a UK house price bubble forming?
