UK RICS Residential Market Survey (Mar. 2026)

March’s RICS housing market survey suggests that the rise in mortgage rates since the start of the Iran war is continuing to take an increasingly heavy toll on buyer sentiment. This leaves us a bit more concerned about the downside risks to our forecast for house prices to rise by 1.5% in the year to Q4 2026 in our baseline scenario.
