Danish rates to stay on hold despite krone weakness

The Danish krone is now close to the centre of the central bank’s exchange rate band – a level at which it has in the past unilaterally raised interest rates. However, we think it is likely to leave rates on hold throughout this year and 2020, not least because of the shift in expectations for ECB monetary policy.
