Saudi’s lifting of foreign ownership limits not a gamechanger

Saudi Arabia’s reform push looks set to take another step forward with suggestions that it will lift foreign ownership limits on local equities before the end of this year. While such a move will help to attract fresh foreign capital inflows, we doubt that this will significantly increase direct investment into the Kingdom.
