Q4 GDP to be very weak, but good news for bonds

With COVID-19 infections shooting up and governments implementing stricter containment measures, very weak GDP growth in Q4 seems all but certain. But with the ECB standing behind the bond market, the outlook for peripheral yields is still bright. Next week will bring the first economic surveys for October, but more focus will be on any further tightening of virus-related restrictions.
