Auto sector cannot account for weak Q4 GDP growth

Problems in the auto industry explain most of the slowdown in euro-zone GDP growth in Q3 last year. But in Q4, although car production remained weak, it did not fall further, and it will not have subtracted from GDP growth. Other factors lie behind the weakness of the economy at the end of last year.
