Israel Interest Rate Announcement (Jan.)

The Bank of Israel opted to reduce its policy rate by another 25bp to 4.00% today, and the tone of its communications suggests that its easing cycle has further to run. We now expect a further 50bp of interest rate cuts, to 3.50%, by year-end.
