Bank of Korea set for an extended pause

The Bank of Korea (BoK) left interest rates unchanged today at 1.75%, but sounded a little more worried than previously about the outlook for the economy. We are sticking with our view that interest rates will remain on hold for this year, but the risks are now skewed towards rate cuts.
