Teranet-National Bank House Prices (Sep.)

The drop in national home sales that began seven months ago resulted in a further slowdown in the rate of annual house price inflation to 11.4% in September, from 13.1%. A sharper slowdown in price inflation in the coming months is unavoidable. And with interest rates on the rise and mortgage financing rules likely to be tightened significantly later this year, the worst is still to come.
