London industrial demand suffers but rents to hold up

Along with difficulty in conducting viewings, London’s hard-hit hospitality and leisure sectors meant that there was a sharp fall in multi-let industrial take-up in H1. While availability is likely to rise further in the coming months on the back of prolonged restrictions on travel and trade, we think a restrained supply pipeline and growth in online spending will support London industrial rental values.
