GDP (Q3)

The y/y slump in Indian GDP eased substantially in Q3 (Q2 of FY20/21), but output was still 9% below its pre-virus level last quarter. Looking ahead, encouraging news on vaccines has brightened the outlook, but weak fiscal support and an impaired banking sector will continue to weigh on India’s recovery.
