CEE: Robust labour markets bode well for the recovery

Labour markets across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) have held up well since the start of the pandemic and we think this will continue over the next few years, which will support recoveries across the region. One key risk to this view is that government support could be removed too early, which might lead to scarring. But as things stand, governments don’t seem inclined to move in this direction.
