The June data released this week showed that, while tariff effects are crystallising in particular industries, broader impacts have so far been avoided. But with pre-tariff inventory stockpiles running low just as reciprocal tariffs are due to return, alongside new tariffs on copper and “probably” semiconductors and pharmaceuticals, we are not out of the woods yet.
