Housing starts posted a healthy increase in Q3, despite the Brexit vote tempering house price expectations and confidence early in the quarter. Looking ahead, we expect housebuilding to grow further, albeit gradually, with the measures announced in yesterday’s Autumn Statement providing incremental gains.
