RBI resumes easing cycle; one more rate cut to come

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today resumed its easing cycle and struck a fairly dovish tone. With inflation set to stay well-below target and growth set to ease over the coming quarters, we remain comfortable with our non-consensus view that the RBI will deliver a final 25bp cut to the repo rate (to 5.00%) in February.
