Polish Presidential Election (2nd Round)

The victory for Karol Nawrocki, the candidate of the nationalist ruling opposition party, in Poland’s presidential election will continue to stymie the government’s efforts to push through its reform agenda and mend ties with the EU. That won’t have major near-term economic implications, but is a negative for the medium-term growth outlook.
