Poland’s retail sales and industrial production figures for August suggest that the economy may be at the early stages of a recovery, but we still expect overall GDP growth to be relatively tepid in the near term. We think that the economy will grow by around just 0.5% over 2023 as a whole, before the recovery shifts into second gear in 2024.
