Iran instability a bigger headache than Venezuela

The risks to the oil market from growing instability in Iran are much greater than in Venezuela. This is not only because Iran produces much more oil itself, but there are also a greater number of realistic flashpoints that could endanger global oil supplies. Some of these could do so severely and potentially halve the ~3m bpd surplus in the oil market that we forecast this year.
