GDP (Q2 2017)

Despite a drop in housing investment, the economic growth accelerated to 4.5% q/q annualised in the second quarter, led by exports and household consumption. This showing was much stronger than the 3.0% estimate by the Bank of Canada and will embolden it to raise interest rates further before the end of this year.
