Retail sales bounce back after new year blues

Kieran Tompkins, of Capital Economics, said that “the third Covid-19 lockdown has been tough for retailers, keeping sales suppressed following the plunge in January. But that will change once non-essential retailers open in mid-April, which should help the economy to begin to bounce back.”
